At
Mad River Cane Corso,
we feel very strongly that the first couple of
months in a puppy’s life play a huge role in how
your dog will turn out. Early socialization is
especially important in the large dominant breeds
like the
Cane Corso. We
weigh our puppies everyday for the first couple of
weeks to make sure everyone is growing well. In
large litters we formula feed the whole litter as
needed. Every puppy gets handled everyday, often by
my children (supervised) as well. As they grow and
start to move around we introduce them to new little
stresses, like different floor surfaces and noises.
Everyone gets special time with the family as they
get older. At first shorter periods of time since
they tire so quickly and also stress a bit being
away from littermates. We are very proud of our
Corso puppies and have worked hard combining the
best of the Italian bloodlines best raising and
socialization possible.
AKC Ch. Mighty Corso of Bajer and Mad River's Shonda
puppies were born January 14th. She had
8 males and 6 females! There are still 2
males and 4 females available. Both Gladimor and Shonda are proven
producers. We can't wait to see what
they do together. We are accepting
deposits now! Pictures coming soon.
